Guest House Thestios is located at the entrance of Vlochos village, 15 km from the city of Agrinio, at the western end of Lake Trichonis, in an ideal location to enjoy the unspoiled scenery, but also to explore the natural beauties and sights of the surrounding area and the rest of Aetolia.

Among others, you will have the opportunity to explore the Lake Trichonida, the largest natural lake in Greece and admire the river Acheloos that crosses the plain of Agrinio.
Still, you can visit sights and historic monuments of ancient and modern history of the area, such as ancient Thermon, ancient Stratos, the Aetolian city Akre and Voukatio, while in distance of 1.5 km from the Guest House is found the Thespian fortress, where today there is the monastery of Vlochos.
The traveller can also take a tour to the rural villages and visit the Environmental Centre of Trichonida Lake (KEPETRI), which operates an exhibition space and a projection room that provide interesting information on the flora and the fauna of the area, as well as a handicraft showroom with local quality, traditional products produced by the Women of the Thestieon Municipality.
